There are endings that happen because people stop caring. And then there are endings that happen even when both people care deeply.

She may have wanted him. He wanted her too.

The problem wasn't the absence of feelings. It was the absence of readiness.

He was emotionally unavailable. Whether it came from past experiences, fear, or simply not knowing how to be vulnerable, he couldn't fully show up in the way love required. She, on the other hand, carried a mind that questioned everything. Every silence felt meaningful. Every delay became a possibility. Every unanswered thought grew into another unanswered question.

Neither of them intended to hurt the other.

They were simply fighting different battles while trying to build the same relationship.

Sometimes love isn't enough when timing, emotional maturity, and healing aren't aligned. Two people can genuinely want each other and still be unable to create something that lasts.

Looking back, it's easy to search for someone to blame. But not every ending needs a villain. Some stories end because two hearts meet before they're ready for each other.

She may have wanted him.
He wanted her too.
But he was emotionally unavailable.
And she was an overthinker.

And that's how it ended.
