The Equation of Us

There was a time when I wanted to believe that love was something mysterious something beyond explanation. But lately, I keep thinking about it differently. Maybe love is nothing more than chemistry. A combination of oxytocin, serotonin, dopamine, adrenaline tiny reactions inside the body that convince us that another person is extraordinary. Maybe that's why someone's eyes can break your heart without them even saying a word. Maybe that's why a person can suddenly become beautiful enough to make you forget everything else. And yet, I keep telling myself not to fall for it. I tell love not to knock on my door anymore. I don't want sonnets. I don't want poetry. I don't want to romanticize something that can be explained by chemicals and impulses. Love seems almost trivial when you look at it that way understandable, perhaps, but still something I would rather keep at a distance. There are bigger things to worry about anyway. The world is changing. The planet is b...

Drifted Away

Sometimes I wonder when things started changing between us. Was there a moment when everything we had slowly became distant? A moment when one of us began drifting away while the other was still standing there, trying to understand what happened? It feels strange when someone who once felt so close suddenly seems impossibly far away. Almost like watching a rocket take someone you love into the sky you can see them leaving, but you don't know how to stop it. I keep wondering where I was when you started slipping away from me. Maybe I was too lost in my own thoughts. Maybe I was afraid to say what I really felt. Maybe I kept waiting for the right moment, believing there would always be another chance to tell you what you meant to me. And then, somehow, the moment passed. I don't know what's waiting ahead for us anymore. Maybe we'll find our way back to each other. Maybe we'll become strangers with memories. Maybe life will take us in completely different directions. B...

The Girl I Couldn't Read

Sometimes I wonder how something as complicated as love can begin with something so simple. A glance. A hello. A moment in a mall. You see someone for the first time and, for reasons you can't quite explain, your attention gets caught. Maybe it's their smile, maybe it's the way they carry themselves, or maybe it's simply the mystery of not knowing anything about them. For a brief moment, you imagine that this could be the beginning of something. But sometimes, reality has a very different sense of humor. Not every hello becomes a conversation. Not every smile means interest. Not every spark is mutual. And sometimes, what you mistake for love at first sight is simply attraction colliding with your imagination. I've learned that beauty can be intimidating. So can rejection. You can walk toward someone with the best intentions and still have absolutely no idea what they're thinking. Are they interested? Are they uncomfortable? Are they amused? Are they wondering wh...

Above the Noise

Some days I find myself wishing I could rise above everything not to escape life forever, but just long enough to see it from a different perspective. From high above, the worries that consume me seem smaller, like tiny shapes scattered across the Earth. It reminds me that every difficult chapter is only one small part of a much larger story. My mind drifts between dreams and memories, wandering through forests, oceans, clouds, and endless skies. In those moments, reality feels softer. I imagine sailboats becoming stars, mountains touching the heavens, and distant sunsets hiding quiet places where time stands still. It's comforting to believe that somewhere beyond the noise, peace is waiting. Maybe that's why I've always looked up. The sky never asks who I am or where I'm going it simply reminds me that there's always another horizon. Until I find the one I'm searching for, I'll keep dreaming, keep looking upward, and keep believing that the world becomes a ...

Indecisive

Today I realized that uncertainty can hurt just as much as rejection. It's difficult standing still while someone keeps looking in every direction except towards you. You wonder if you're not enough, or if they're simply searching for something they'll never find. The hardest part isn't hearing "no" it's living in the silence between "maybe" and "never." I wanted a chance to show who I really am instead of being compared to endless possibilities. I wasn't asking for perfection, only honesty. If two people are meant to build something together, they both have to choose it. One heart can't carry the weight of two. I've spent enough time wishing things had unfolded differently. Some stories are delayed because of fear, others because of indecision. Whatever the reason, I can't keep waiting forever.  If our hearts are ever meant to meet, it will happen because we both choose each other not because one of us keeps hoping ...

When Silence Says Everything

Some feelings are too fragile for conversations. Every time I see you, I find myself searching your face for answers that words could never fully explain. I replay every glance, every pause, wondering if we're still capable of finding our way back to each other. Even after everything, a part of me quietly hopes we'll make it through this season instead of becoming another unfinished story. I don't need a perfect explanation. Sometimes I just wish I could sit beside you in silence. I'd rather let my tears speak than force my heart into sentences it isn't ready to say. There are emotions that don't ask to be understood they only ask to be witnessed. If I ever broke down in front of you, it wouldn't be because I was weak. It would be because you were the one person I trusted enough to be completely unguarded. What I want most isn't certainty it's honesty. I want to know who you really are, what your heart feels, and whether the connection I still hold o...

Echoes of July

July has a strange way of making everything look alive while something inside me still feels unfinished. The streets are brighter, the days are longer, and people seem happier, yet I keep looking for you in places I know you won't be. Every familiar corner, every sunset, every warm evening carries a memory of someone who is no longer part of my life. I keep telling myself that I've moved on, but some part of me is still waiting. Not for us to be together again, but for the ache to finally disappear. I wonder if you ever think about what we could have been, or if I'm just a forgotten season in your story. I don't even need answers anymore I just wish the memories didn't arrive so effortlessly. Maybe one day July will simply be July again instead of reminding me of you. Until then, I'll keep walking forward, carrying the love I couldn't hold onto and the goodbye I never truly wanted. Some people leave our lives, but somehow they never completely leave our hear...
