Prioritizing
There are days when I convince myself that disappearing would be easier than carrying everything I feel. I keep moving through life, pretending I'm fine, but the truth is that one person still has the power to keep my heart afloat. No matter how far I try to drift, my thoughts always find their way back.
Sometimes I imagine a future that no longer belongs to me. It's strange how hope can survive even when reality says otherwise. In quiet moments, I still catch myself looking toward the horizon, wondering if the distance between us is measured in miles, time, or simply the words we never said.
I've often felt like a satellite circling endlessly, sending silent signals that never receive a reply. From up here, the world keeps rushing forward while I remain suspended between holding on and letting go. Everyone else seems to be racing toward new beginnings, yet a part of me is still waiting for one familiar light to appear.
You were never just another chapter. You were the rare constellation I searched for in a sky full of uncertainty. Even if our paths never cross again, I'll always be grateful that, for a brief moment, you gave direction to my universe.
