One Year Later

15 July 2026

Exactly one year ago, on 15 July 2025, my life changed in a matter of seconds.

A motorcycle accident left my left arm broken in two places. What began as an ordinary day became months of pain, surgeries, hospital visits, sleepless nights, and learning how to do the simplest things all over again. Recovery wasn't just physical it tested my patience, my confidence, and my spirit.

There were days I wondered if life would ever feel normal again. Every small movement hurt, every milestone took longer than expected, and every setback felt heavier than the last. But healing isn't measured only by how bones mend. It's measured by the strength you discover when you have no choice but to keep going.

Today marks one year since that accident. I don't celebrate what happened I acknowledge what it taught me. Life is fragile. Time is precious. And resilience is often built in the moments we never asked for.

The scars remain, but so does the reminder that I survived. One year later, I carry more gratitude, more perspective, and a deeper appreciation for every ordinary day that once seemed insignificant.

Some anniversaries celebrate achievements. Others celebrate survival. Today, I celebrate the fact that I'm still here, still moving forward, and still writing my story.
